Let Me Introduce Myself

Hi and welcome to my blog! I’m so glad you’re here and if I’m just typing to myself, then hello to me - you go girl!
Throughout my time creating my website, I contemplated having a blog and if I did what I wanted it to do. What kind of resource do I want to be and provide to anyone that may come across it. As a personal trainer, I feel a lot of weight to post the ins-and-outs of all things fitness. You know the tips & tricks, secrets to muscle gain or fat loss, or how to get and sustain motivation to be active. But on the flip side with my nutrition, there’s another level tipping the scale back to posting recipes, secrets to eating healthy, and all the toppings that come with it.
So I took a step back and thought to myself again, what do *I* want to provide..
For the longest time I haven’t trusted my own gut and built expertise in my career. For years I’ve let the outside influence of others scare me away to just simply sharing. So when I look at the influence that I want to provide to others.. I decided on everything.
Okay, maybe not ev-ver-re-thing, but I want to provide a variety of resources, support, and education from workouts for every level to recipes made simple but also the hard ones. I want to share my personal journey along the way as a reminder that this lifestyle isn’t “easy” for anyone, even those of us that have been doing it a long time. I want to talk about mental health and how it plays such a vital role in our well being and dig into different forms of self care.
I want my space to be a friend to you. Someone you can trust and look forward to hearing from. Someone that truly has your best interest at heart because it’s about being there and supporting you, rather than the latter.
I want to hear from you, the reader(s), what you want to learn about so I may help guide you in a direction that fits your core values and needs as you embark on whatever part of your health and fitness journey. I remember what it was like starting out and not knowing where to start or whose guidance to trust. Heck even today I still have questions I have to learn the answers to. But that is the beauty of this industry, like us humans, it’s ever evolving and changing. There is always something new to learn or try.
And that is why this blog will be a little bit of everything from fitness and nutrition, to lifestyle and personal adventure. This blog will change overtime and hopefully continue to be better with every post.
Thank you for reading this far, I cannot wait to share more in the future and hopefully help just one person not feel alone or like they have to reinvent the wheel.
